City of Clinton Mayor And City Council Members LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT TEAM
The City of Clinton operates under the Mayor/Council form of government as set forth in their Home Rule Charter, with a City Administrator appointed by the City Council. The Mayor and seven council members (one from each of four wards and three at large) are elected to four-year, staggered terms. The City Council provides policy direction for city staff and is the ultimate authority for the city’s portion of this proposal. |

Second Ward Representative Michael Kearney is a retired banker. He is a board member of the Clinton County Historical Society and the YMCA. He is active in numerous other civic organizations.

Bev Hermann |
Third Ward Representative, Bev Hermann
is a returning Councilmember, having
served the 1st Ward from 2001-2005. She recently retired after nearly 23
years as an Associate Staffperson with Illinois Education Association-NEA in
Moline.
Bev was in the first Clinton Citizen Police Academy
class, is active with the Alumni Association, and is a member of the
National Citizen Police Academy Alumni. Bev finds the Iowa
League of Cities trainings very helpful in Council work. She is a past
member of the Parklands and Facilities Committee, has worked with
Neighborhood Watch and other civic organizatons, and served on her Staff
Union's Executive Board for several years. |

She is a current Board Member of Bridgeview and YWCA and a member of
Rotary. She has been active many years in various civic
organizations including: former Clinton Schools Board Member and Human
Rights Commission.
