SUBJECT:Solid Waste Survey Cards are in the mail ~
Every resident will be receiving a postage paid survey card in the mail requesting information - asking if the resident wishes to be included in the new solid waste automated collection system. It is very important that every resident that wishes to have the City of Clinton provide solid waste containers and/or yard waste containers participate. The containers will be delivered to residents that wish to be included - at no cost for the containers. The new containers will be the only containers that are collected by the City of Clinton for solid waste and yard waste. Bags will no longer be collected and stickers will no longer be needed. The containers are a part of the new automated collection system that the City is converting to. These containers are well identified with the City of Clinton "paddle wheel logo" on both sides of the container.
It is very important to complete and return the card that you will receive in the mail. Without this information, we will not be able to identify who wishes to be a part of the City's collection system. There are only two questions on the card to be answered by checking either yes or no, and the address where the cans are to be delivered. An example follows:
I want to have a solid waste container delivered to my property and participate in the City of Clinton solid waste program.
Yes ______ No _______
I want to have a yard waste container delivered to my property and participate in the City of Clinton yard waste program.
