The Finance Department is responsible for management of the of City of Clinton finances, audit, budget preparation, debt management, and risk management. Services provided by the Finance Department include the following:

The Accounting function provides for financial reporting, grants accounting, and miscellaneous accounts receivable.

Central Services are also the responsibility of the Finance Department and those services include City Hall maintenance management.

The Treasury activity includes cash management, investments, ambulance billing & collections, garbage sticker billing & collections, parking ticket collections, pet licensing, and utility billing & collections.
