CHAPTER NO. 2310

 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 165.02 OF THE ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF CLINTON, IOWA, BY CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF PROPERTIES ABUTTING MAIN AVENUE FROM NORTH 3^RD STREET TO MCKINLEY STREET FROM C-2 (LOCAL COMMERCIAL) TO MAIN AVENUE OVERLAY ZONE.

 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLINTON, IOWA:

 Section 1.  Amendment.  Chapter 165.02 of the Ordinances of the City of Clinton, Iowa, classifying real estate described as follows:

             Lots 1, 2, 3, 14, 15 and 16, Block 1, Range 8, Buell’s Second Addition;

            Lots 1, 2, 3, 14, 15 and 16, Block 1, Range 7, Buell’s Second Addition;

            Lots 1, 2, 3, 14, 15 and 16, Block 1, Range 6, Buell’s Second Addition;

            Lots 11 and 12, Block 34, Town of Lyons;

            Lot 1, Block 25, Town of Lyons;

            Lots 1 and 12, Block 18, Town of Lyons;

            Lot 7, Block 17, Town of Lyons;

            Lots 5 and 6, Block 26, Town of Lyons;

            Lot 7, Block 33, Town of Lyons;

            Lots 5, 6, 7 and 8, Block 35, Aikman & Buell’s Addition;

            Lots 6, 7 and 8, Block 42, Aikman & Buell’s Addition;

            Lots 5, 6, 7 and 8, Block 31, Stumbaugh’s Addition;

            Lots 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8, Block 43, Aikman & Buell’s Addition

 Is hereby amended so that said real estate is classified in the Main Avenue Overlay Zone district.

 Section 2.       Repealer.  All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

 Section 3.       Severability Clause.  If any section, provision or part of this ordinance shall be adjudged invalid or unconstitutional, such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole or any section, provision or part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional.

 Section 4.       Effective Date.  This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and publication as provided by law.
