CHAPTER NO.  2304

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 165.02 OF THE ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF CLINTON, IOWA BY CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF PROPERTY  LOCATED IN THE 2400 BLOCK OF LIBERTY AVENUE  WITHIN THE CITY OF CLINTON, IOWA FROM C-2 (GENERAL COMMERCIAL) TO M-2 (INDUSTRIAL).

 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLINTON, IOWA:

Section 1.       Amendment.  Chapter 165.02 of the Ordinances of the City of Clinton, Iowa classifying real estate described as set forth as:

Lots 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 and 19 in Block 20 of East Chancy Park and an unplatted tract of land at the west end of the southern half of Block 20 of East Chancy Park, and Lots 9,10, 11, 12 and 13 in Block 20 of Allars Addition

in the C-2 (General Commercial) zoning district is hereby amended so that said real estate is classified in the M-2 (Industrial) zoning district.

Section 2.  Repealer.  Any ordinance or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.

Section 3.  Severability Clause.  If any section, provision or part of this ordinance shall be adjudged invalid or unconstitutional, such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole or any section, provision or part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional.

Section 4.  Effective Date.  This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and publication as provided by law.
