CHAPTER NO. 2287

AN ORDINANCE NAMING THE NEW STREET EXTENDING WESTERLY FROM WINDSOR DRIVE AND 16^TH AVENUE SOUTH IN MANUFACTURING MEADOWS 3, FIRST ADDITION IN THE CITY OF CLINTON, IOWA

 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLINTON, IOWA:

 Section 1.       Purpose.  The purpose of this ordinance is to establish a name for the new street constructed west of Windsor Drive and 16^th Avenue South in Manufacturing Meadows 3, First Addition to its connection with Hart’s Mill Road. 

 Section 2.       Street named.  The new east/west street which runs westerly from the intersection of Windsor Drive and 16^th Avenue South to a point 650.6 ft. west of the centerline of Windsor Drive, said point being the centerline of the realigned Hart’s Mill Road, is hereby named 16^th Avenue South.

 Section 3.       Signs.  The Public Works Department is hereby directed to erect the appropriate street signs and notify the adjacent property owners.

Section 4.       Recording.  After final passage and publication, the City Clerk shall certify and file a copy of this ordinance with the Clinton County Recorder, Clinton County Auditor and Clinton City Assessor as required by law.

 Section 5.       Repealer.  All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

 Section 6.       Severability Clause.  If any section, provision or part of this ordinance shall be adjudged invalid or unconstitutional, such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole or any section, provision or part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional.

 Section 7.       Effective Date.  This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and publication as provided by law.
