CHAPTER NO. 2261

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF CLINTON, IOWA BY ESTABLISHING A SPEED LIMIT ON ANAMOSA ROAD BETWEEN U.S. HIGHWAY 30 AND 44^TH AVENUE SOUTH OF 35 MILES PER HOUR 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLINTON, IOWA:

Section 1.       Speed Limit Established.  The Code of Ordinances of the City of Clinton, Iowa, 1999 is amended by adding to Chapter 63.05(5) a new subsection (P) to read as follows: 

P.  Anamosa Road between U.S. Highway 30 and 44^th Avenue South. 

Section 2.       Repealer.  All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

Section 3.       Severability Clause.  If any section, provision or part of this ordinance shall be adjudged invalid or unconstitutional, such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole or any section, provision or part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional.

Section 4.       Effective Date.  This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and publication as provided by law.
