CHAPTER NO.  2254

 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF CLINTON, IOWA 1999 BY CHANGING THE SPEED LIMIT ON 13^TH AVENUE NORTH BETWEEN 16^TH STREET NORTHWEST AND MILL CREEK PARKWAY TO 35 MILES PER HOUR.

 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLINTON, IOWA:

 Section 1.       Amended Subsection.  A.  The Code of Ordinances of the City of Clinton, Iowa 1999 is amended by changing Chapter 63.05(5) subsection J. to read as follows:

 J.                    Thirteenth Avenue North from Mill Creek Parkway to North Fourteenth Street

B.      The Code of Ordinances of the City of Clinton, Iowa, 1999 is amended by changing Chapter 63.05(7) subsection G. to read as follows:

 E.         On Thirteenth Avenue North from Mill Creek Parkway to west city limits

Section 2.       Repealer.  All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

Section 3.       Severability Clause.  If any section, provision or part of this ordinance shall be adjudged invalid or unconstitutional, such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole or any section, provision or part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional.

 Section 4.       Effective Date.  This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and publication as provided by law.
