CHAPTER NO. 2252

 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF CLINTON, IOWA, BY AMENDING CHAPTER 2250, WARD AND PRECINCT BOUNDARIES.

 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLINTON, IOWA:

 Section 1.  Amendments.  The Code of Ordinances of the City of Clinton, Iowa, is amended as follows:

 1.         Amend Section 2 by adding the following 2000 Census Blocks to Ward 1, Precinct 2:

             Blocks 3035, 3038, 3040, 3041, 3042, 3986, 3988, 3995 and 3996 in Census Tract 0002;

             Blocks 4017, 4018, 4019, 6064, 6056 and 6057 in Census Tract 0004;

             Blocks 1002, 1003, 2007, 2008, 2015, 2017, 5002, 5004, 5005, 5008, 5009 and 6003 in Census Tract 0008;

 2.         Delete Section 7 and insert in lieu thereof the following:

             Effective Date.  This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and publication as provided by law.

 Section 2.       Repealer.  All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

 Section 3.       Severability Clause.  If any section, provision or part of this ordinance shall be adjudged invalid or unconstitutional, such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole or any section, provision or part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional.

 Section 4.       Effective Date.  This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and publication as provided by law.
