CHAPTER NO. 2251

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 165 OF THE ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF CLINTON, IOWA, BY CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 801 SOUTH 03 STREET FROM M-2 (INDUSTRIAL) TO C-2 (GENERAL COMMERCIAL).

 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLINTON, IOWA:

 Section 1.  Amendment.  Chapter 165 of the Ordinances of the City of Clinton, Iowa, classifying real estate described as follows:

             Lots 1, 2 and 3, Block 45, South Addition, part of the southwest quarter 7-81-7, long legal description

            Location:  801 South 03 Street

 in the M-2 (Industrial) zoning district is hereby amended so that said real estate is classified in the C-2 (General Commercial) zoning district.

 Section 2.       Repealer.  All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

Section 3.       Severability Clause.  If any section, provision or part of this ordinance shall be adjudged invalid or unconstitutional, such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole or any section, provision or part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional.

Section 4.       Effective Date.  This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and publication as provided by law.
